Donna Hey (left, pictured with ReadingFilm Executive Director Cammie Harris) became involved as a volunteer with the ReadingFilmFEST as a way to branch out and try something new in her free time.
She immediately became hooked on the creative environment and fun atmosphere of the ReadingFilmFEST.
She began working with a small group of volunteers, eventually leading to roles as Volunteer Coordinator and Venue Captain and has since become a Juror for ReadingFilmFEST!
In addition to ReadingFilmFEST, Donna is very involved with the Pagoda Pacers running club and is the Co-Director of Run For the Ages which is an age-graded 10k trail chase which is held in Nolde Forest the last Sunday in June. Donna serves as a Board Member and Membership Chair for the Friends of Nolde organization.
To support her hobbies of running and Pickleball, Donna works full time for Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips as Order Management Coordinator. According to Donna, “It’s fun to work in a place where as part of your job you get to eat potato chips for breakfast every day.”
Donna has an endearing memory of getting teary each year watching Frosty The Snowman. Donna says, “My family still likes to make fun about me crying every year when Frosty melts,” she continues, “It started as a child and I still find the process sad to this day… Maybe one time, he will not melt?”
