Originally erected in 1910 by the City of Reading as a horse drawn trolley depot. From 1921-1945 it was the Oldsmobile Company of Reading Showroom. Today it is the showroom/shop for McGinty Motorcars which specializes in world-wide sales of antique and collectable automobiles.
The building consists of 6,100 feet of garage space in addition to a 1,000 square feet showroom and office. The shop has a 30' two-tier roof, vintage steel frame with 1,152 panes of glass and a recently added steel staircase for a loft storage area. Ample parking behind the structure for camera trucks, crew and support vehicles.
