Location Description
Hawk Mountain is a mountain ridge in the Appalachian Mountain chain enveloping 13,000 acres of protected private and public land, including the 2,600 acre Hawk Mountain Sanctuary which offers panoramic views extending some 70 miles. It is a prime location for the study and observation of migrating raptors.
Current Use
Public trails, hiking and viewing. Owned and operated by the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Association.
