Daniel Boone Homestead
Location Description
In 1734, American frontiersman, Daniel Boone was born and grew up here. In 1750 the house was sold and a stone structure was built over the site of the log cabin. The basement in the house is original to the log cabin. The Daniel Boone Homestead spans 600 acres and includes eight historic buildings dating to the 18th & 19th centuries offering a historical representation of Colonial life in Pennsylvania.
